The First Dham: Yamuna Temple
The shrine honours Goddess Yamuna — Surya's daughter, Yama's sister. Families we take here bathe at Surya Kund first. Many come because they hold that this water guards against an early death.
Champasar Glacier is the ice source, higher and hard to reach. For most of our groups, this temple is the place they offer prayers to the goddess.
