Delhi to Chopta — Into the Meadows

  • 05:30 AMPickup from your Delhi hotel / railway station, an early start for the long drive.
  • 01:00 PMLunch break en route (on direct payment) at Rudraprayag or Ukhimath.
  • 06:30 PMCheck-in at Chopta, dinner and an early night before the trek.

Tungnath Temple & the Chandrashila Summit

  • 05:00 AMEarly breakfast, then set off on the trek from Chopta base.
  • 07:30 AMReach Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world, for a short halt.
  • 09:00 AMContinue the final stretch to Chandrashila summit for a 360-degree Himalayan view.
  • 01:00 PMDescend back to Chopta, lunch and rest for the evening.

Deoria Tal — The Mirror Lake

  • 07:00 AMBreakfast, then a short drive and light trek to Deoria Tal.
  • 09:30 AMTime by the lake, known for its clear reflection of the Chaukhamba peaks.
  • 01:00 PMReturn to Chopta, lunch and a free afternoon to relax by the meadows.
  • 06:30 PMBonfire evening under a clear mountain sky, weather permitting.

Chopta & the Long Drive Back

  • 07:00 AMEarly morning walk through the meadows for one last view.
  • 08:30 AMBreakfast and check-out from the campsite / hotel.
  • 09:30 AMStart the drive back toward Delhi, with a lunch stop en route.
  • 08:00 PMDrop at your hotel / station in Delhi, late evening.
