Delhi to Joshimath — Into the Garhwal Hills

  • 05:00 AMPickup from your Delhi hotel / railway station, an early start for the long drive.
  • 01:00 PMLunch break en route (on direct payment) at Rudraprayag or Karnaprayag.
  • 07:30 PMCheck-in at Joshimath, dinner and an early night before the climb to Auli.

Joshimath to Auli — Onto the Slopes

  • 08:00 AMBreakfast, then the drive or ropeway ride up to Auli.
  • 11:00 AMCheck-in and a slow first walk on the snow to acclimatise.
  • 02:00 PMLunch, then a short visit to the Auli artificial lake.
  • 06:00 PMSunset over the Nanda Devi and Kamet peaks before dinner at the hotel.

Full Day of Skiing & Snow Activities

  • 08:30 AMBreakfast, then report to the ski slope for gear and a beginner's session.
  • 10:00 AMGuided skiing practice on the gentle Auli slopes with an instructor.
  • 02:00 PMLunch break, then optional snowboarding or a ride on Asia's longest cable car.
  • 06:30 PMWarm up by the bonfire before dinner at the hotel.

Gorson Bugyal & Chenab Lake

  • 08:00 AMBreakfast, then a light trek to the snow meadows of Gorson Bugyal.
  • 12:30 PMLunch, then a visit to the frozen Chenab Lake if conditions allow.
  • 03:30 PMFree time to shop for woollens or simply enjoy the snow at your own pace.
  • 06:30 PMFarewell dinner with a view of the darkening peaks.

Auli & the Long Drive Back

  • 07:00 AMEarly morning walk for one last view of the snow line.
  • 09:00 AMBreakfast and check-out from the hotel.
  • 10:00 AMStart the drive back toward Delhi, with a lunch stop en route.
  • 09:00 PMDrop at your hotel / station in Delhi, late evening.
